It weighs 2.35 grams, measures 19.05 mm in diameter, and has a smooth edge with a medal alignment axis. The obverse features an uncrowned bust of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Susanna Blunt, while the reverse, designed by G. E. Kruger-Gray, shows two maple leaves on the same twig with the inscriptions “1 CENT 2007 CANADA.” This particular magnetic variety had a large circulation mintage of 938,270,000 coins and was minted by the Royal Canadian Mint for regular circulation and collector finishes such as uncirculated and specimen.
