The Kodak No. 2A Folding Hawk-Eye Model B is a compact folding camera produced by Eastman Kodak from 1926 to 1934. It uses 116 roll film, producing large 2½” x 4¼” photos. The camera has a pressed steel body covered in black textured leatherette, with rounded ends and a foldable lens housing connected to collapsible bellows. It features a meniscus lens with four aperture settings (f/11 to f/32) and shutter speeds including timed (T), bulb (B), 1/25, and 1/50 seconds. A swiveling prismatic glass waist-level viewfinder allows framing in landscape or portrait orientation. The camera has focus settings marked 8 feet, fixed (about 25 feet), and infinity (100 feet), along with accessories like a cable release socket, tripod sockets, and a leather carry handle. It was marketed as a portable, user-friendly camera aimed at everyday photographers and offered in several color options in some editions. Its unique viewfinder and folding design made it more versatile and portable than many contemporary box cameras.
