The Conley Junior 3 camera is a folding bed camera produced around 1913 to 1922 that uses 122 roll film to capture 3¼ x 4¼ inch exposures, with early models having a squared body and later versions featuring a more rounded design. It features a metal hooded wood body with red bellows, rack and pinion focusing, and a Wollensak lens paired with a Wollensak Junior Automatic 5-blade leaf shutter offering speeds including T, B, 1/100, 1/50, and 1/25 seconds. Notable for its leatherette-covered wooden body with a hinged back door for easy film loading, it includes a brilliant finder and supports tripod mounting for both horizontal and vertical shots, embodying classic early 20th-century roll film technology with robust, elegant construction and functional design. The camera was marketed mainly via Sears and is well-regarded as one of Conley’s first roll film models.
