The 1916 Canadian 10 cents coin, part of the George V series, features the bust of King George V on its obverse side with the legend “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA : REX ET IND : IMP :”. The reverse side displays a crown atop with two boughs of 22 maple leaves attached by a ribbon surrounding the denomination “10 CENTS” and the country name “CANADA” along with the year “1916”. It is composed of sterling silver with 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, weighs 2.32 grams, has a diameter of 18.03 mm, and a reeded edge. This coin, minted by the Royal Canadian Mint, had a circulation mintage of about 4,218,114 and is non-magnetic with the medal alignment axis. The design was created by artists E. B.
