It features the bust of King George V on the obverse with the Latin inscription “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA : REX ET IND : IMP :” and a reverse design showcasing the denomination “25 CENTS CANADA 1917” crowned, flanked by maple leaves on two boughs tied with a ribbon.
