1920 – 10 Cents Dime Canada

The 1920 Canadian 10 cents coin features on its obverse the bust of King George V, designed by Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennal, with the legend “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA : REX ET IND : IMP :.” The reverse, designed by William Henry James Blakemore, displays a crown atop 22 maple leaves on two boughs tied with a ribbon, encircling the denomination and the year “10 CENTS CANADA 1920.” The coin is made of 80% silver and 20% copper, weighs approximately 2.32 grams, has a diameter of 18.03 mm, and a reeded edge.
