It features on the obverse a left-facing portrait of King George V designed by Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennal, with the inscription “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA : REX ET IND : IMP :”. The reverse, designed by William Henry James Blakemore, displays a crowned numeral “10” with two branches of maple leaves tied with a ribbon below, representing Canada’s national symbol. This coin has a reeded edge and a medal alignment orientation.
