1945 – 25 Cents Quarter Canada

The 1945 Canadian 25-cent coin, commonly called a quarter, is composed of 80% silver and 20% copper, with a total weight of 5.83 grams and a diameter of 23.62 mm. It features the obverse design of King George VI, created by Thomas Humphrey Paget, with the inscription “GEORGIVS VI D : G : REX ET IND : IMP :,” and the reverse depicts a caribou head, designed by Emanuel Hahn, along with the denomination “25 CENTS” and the country name “CANADA.” Minted by the Royal Mint, this non-magnetic coin has a reeded edge and medal alignment orientation.
