The reverse side shows two maple leaves on the same twig, a design by G.E. Kruger-Gray, symbolizing Canada. This coin is made of 98% copper, 0.5% tin, and 1.5% zinc, weighs 2.5 grams, has a diameter of 19.1 mm, a plain smooth edge, and was produced in a large quantity of around 639 million for circulation.
