2021 – 25 Cents Quarter Canada

The 2021 Canadian 25-cent coin featuring the caribou is part of Canada’s standard circulation coinage, struck in nickel-plated steel with a diameter of 23.88 mm and a weight of 4.4 grams. Its reverse, designed by artist Emanuel Hahn, depicts the iconic caribou with majestic antlers, a long-standing symbol of Canada’s northern wilderness, surrounded by the word “CANADA,” the denomination “25 CENTS,” and the year “2021.” The obverse carries the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, showing her right-facing portrait without a crown, a design used on Canadian coins since 2003. The caribou quarter has been in continuous circulation since 1937, making it one of the most recognizable and enduring representations of Canadian identity.
