2022 – 1 Dollar Loonie Canada – Colored Graham Bell Colored

The 2022 colored Canadian 1 dollar coin commemorates the 175th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Graham Bell, celebrating his significant contributions to science and innovation in Canada. The coin features blue-colored waves representing Nova Scotia’s Bras d’Or Lake, the historic site where Bell’s record-setting HD-4 hydrofoil and the first powered aircraft to fly in Canada, the Silver Dart, made history. Crafted with a three-ply brass finish plated steel and selective color, the coin is uncirculated with a brilliant new coin quality. It honors Bell’s legacy of discovery and innovation linked to Cape Breton, emphasizing his impact on Canadian technological advancements.
