E. Kruger-Gray. The coin is made primarily of 98% copper with small amounts of tin and zinc, weighs 2.5 grams, and is 19.1 mm in diameter with a plain edge. The reverse bears the dual date “1867-1992” to mark the anniversary. This coin was minted in large quantities, about 673.5 million for circulation, and also in proof sets.
