2022 – 10 Cents Dime Canada

The 2022 Canadian 10-cent coin, commonly known as the dime, features a copper-plated steel composition with 92% steel, 5.5% copper, and 2.5% nickel, weighing 1.75 grams and measuring 18.03 mm in diameter. It has a reeded edge and a medal alignment axis. The obverse side displays an uncrowned bust of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Susanna Blunt, inscribed with “ELIZABETH II D – G – REGINA.” The reverse showcases the iconic Bluenose schooner, a symbol of Canada’s maritime heritage, sailing the open sea with tall sails, a design originally created by Emanuel Hahn. This coin is magnetic and minted by the Royal Canadian Mint, with finishes intended for circulation and specimen.
