The 1950 Canadian 5-cent coin, made of nickel, features a plain smooth edge with a diameter of 21.3 mm and a weight of 4.54 grams. The obverse side displays a bust of King George VI, designed by Thomas Humphrey Paget, with the inscription “GEORGIVS VI DEI GRATIA REX.” The reverse side, designed by G. E.
