The obverse features the bust of King George V with the inscription “GEORGIVS V DEI GRATIA : REX ET IND : IMP :”, while the reverse displays a serpentine motif of 16 maple leaves encircling the denomination “ONE CENT CANADA” and the year 1918. This coin was minted by the Royal Canadian Mint with a circulation mintage of 12,970,798 pieces.
