2007 – 25 Cents Quarter Canada – Olympic Ice Hockey Commemorative Coin

The 2007 Canada ice hockey coin is a $25 sterling silver hologram coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint as part of a series celebrating the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Featuring a proof finish and a serrated edge, this collector coin weighs 27.78 grams and is composed of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper. The design includes artwork by Steve Hepburn on the reverse and Susanna Blunt on the obverse, and it highlights Canada’s national sport, ice hockey, symbolizing the country’s pride and Olympic spirit. Only 45,000 of these coins were minted worldwide, making it a limited edition collectible delivered in a black display case with a serialized certificate, and it was the first-ever holographic coin released for the Olympic Winter Games.
